How to sew a patch on a sleeve?
I'm new to sewing. My boyfriend has a long-sleeved jacket that you sew patches all over .. as a punk rock jacket. Is there a way to sew a patch on the sleeve with a sewing machine? Because I do not see how it works .. Or, you have to hand sew? I'm talking to sew a patch on a long sleeve of the jacket for example, when the elbow. Thanks!
You will not be able to reach the sleeve with a home machine. You can sew by hand, use an adhesive, or take it to a shoe repair shop – Their machines can reach within a sleeve less. Not recommended the opening of the seam side, if heavy as a tissue denim or leather 1. you know your computer can handle the entire structure and you have the right needle and thread, and 2. you you have moderate sewing experience, I guess not because they ask how. If it is a padded jacket, some filling may be stuck in the seams, and must be sewn. If one side has to close the shirt with the open hand that – if you're going to sew by hand, anyway just hand sew the patch. and would be less trouble to carry a dry cleaner or doctor's shoes – not expensive at all.
