Now That’s What I Call Music! 5

$9.69

The U.S. version of the Now That’s What I Call Music series is often pegged as strictly kid stuff. There’s no denying that many or most of the singles collected on volume 5 are beloved teen and preteen faves; even with a title cleanup, though, Mystikal’s James Brown tribute “Shake It Fast” provides plenty of grownup kicks. As do Destiny’s Child, Mya, and Kandi, whose delicious pop-R&B tracks trump…

No doubt Close sensed tour-de-force potential in playing a virtuous San Francisco wife and Catholic bishop’s secretary whose body is possessed by the vampy spirit of a 1…

The bright cartoon colors of the Saturday morning classic Fat Albert get brought into the real world–or a Hollywood facsimile of reality, at any rate. When a teenage girl named Doris (Kyla Pratt) sheds a tear onto her TV’s remote control, her unhappiness summons Fat Albert (Kenan Thompson, Barbershop 2), Mushmouth, Dumb Donald, Old Weird Harold, and the rest of the gang from Bill Cosby’s popular …
