Has anybody been to Jones Beach concert arena in NY?
Has anybody been to Jones Beach concert arena in NY?
If so did you think it sounded good or was it a terrible show? Reason I ask is because I’ve seen shows there before and I believed they sucked only because all the sound got affected by the ocean. I just need to know if I’m the only one who feels this way. Honestly I’d rather see the show at MSG or Nassau coliseum, or even the PNC arts center in NJ.
How is that possible, it’s not even on the ocean side.
The worst thing is probably the weather. The Bald Hill venue is better but I think it would be too small. Long Island needs a decent sized state of the art ampitheater that brings the big names. It would be cool if they built one next to Nassau Colisseum, maybe close to Shea Stadium? The Worlds Fair, maybe? Unused areas like part of the old Grumman factory or in Hauppague? It would be good if it was right by a train stop.
A lot of people on LI, but they could use one or two concert venues.
