Looking for information on a rare cuban chess set. Ajedrez de Cuba?
I came accross a “rare” chess piece that suposedly fidel castro gave to a select few world leaders. I was wondering if anyone knew any information about it. I have it in mint conditions with a certificate and everything. I try to research online but have had no luck.
Ajedrez just means “Chess” and Fidel was a Chess-lover.
Could you perhaps give more info on the certificate, maybe that could lead you further. I also guess that visiting chess – fora could lead to more Info. I wonder how many on Y!A, with todays RPG’s and online simulation games, know how to play chess
